Aguja Guillaumet, Patagonia and Aconcagua

We have had two beautiful mountain successes recently!
To end 2008, our Andescross Guide, Eduardo,
summited Aconcagua with Ken, our client of 70 years old.
Good "cumbre"... congrantulations!

We started 2009 with more technical trips than other years.
After two attempts (due to weather) we were able to summit
Guillaumet , a Patagonian Granite spire that is a sattelite of Fitz Roy massif.
We climbed the Brenner route, also called "Golden Spur",
with our friend/client Daniel,
who is 19 years old.

Who says a 68 year old climber is an old climber!

We enjoyed a good rock day of climbing in Refugio Frey, Argentina
surroundings with
Brian Moorhead, a young mind, 68 year old Squamish climber!
He actually is the father of Colin Moorhead, owner of
http://www.squamishrockguides.com/
If you are thinking in going there and have few climbing days by the Chief,
contact Colin Moorhead or Paul Mc Sorley they are more than
good climbers!!
